Market News Investors Read Inside Your App

Why brokers and investment apps gain from short, sourced market news in English and Arabic, covering US equities and the Saudi Exchange, with no advice.

An investor opens a trading app, checks a position, and then leaves to find out why the stock moved. They read something half-explained on a social feed or forum, often in a language they did not choose.

For a broker or investment app, that trip away is a missed chance. Short, sourced market news inside the app keeps the explanation next to the decision, under the firm's own name.

Why does the language and format of market news matter?

Investors read news fastest in the language they think in. A headline translated as an afterthought, with numbers that flip direction or tickers that break the line, tells the reader the product was not built for them.

News Pulse writes each story in English and Arabic, covering US equities and the Saudi Exchange (TASI and Nomu). Both versions are written to the same standard and from the same sources. For Arabic readers that means right-to-left layout from the start, numbers and tickers that stay readable inside Arabic text, and a choice between Western (123) and Eastern Arabic (١٢٣) numerals.

What makes market news useful rather than noise?

A news bite in News Pulse is 120 words or fewer, written in our own words from primary sources such as exchange announcements and company filings. Each one is tagged to its stocks, its sector and its event type, so an app can show investors the stories about the companies they follow rather than everything at once.

Context matters too. A stock split, a dividend or a rights issue means little to a new investor. News Pulse adds a short impact explainer for each event type, drawn from reviewed templates, describing what this kind of event usually means. It is labelled as not investment advice and it never forecasts a price.

Why must every news item cite its source and date?

Market news that cannot be traced back is hard to trust and harder to defend if a client complains.

Every News Pulse bite carries its source, a link and the as-of time, and every response carries attribution for its sources. For institutions that offer Shariah-compliant products, Shariah status is shown per screening source, each with its own status, purification ratio, as-of date and link. Sources are never merged into one verdict. Statuses computed from a published methodology are labelled "Calculated from published methodology, not a fatwa", and a firm's own Shariah board is shown first.

Generated text and synthetic voices are always labelled as such. AI text is generated once, cached, and kept with its model and prompt version, so a firm can show later exactly what an investor was shown and how it was produced.

Can a market news feed stay clear of buy and sell recommendations?

It should, and the product is built to. News Pulse explains and describes. It does not tell an investor to buy or sell.

The stock snapshot shows key ratios, a technical summary, news sentiment, a simple risk score with its drivers, and analyst consensus where the firm holds the licence for it. Risk and trend labels describe a stock; they never signal a trade. Every response carries a disclaimer in the reader's language.

How a firm presents market content to its clients is a regulatory question as well as a product one, so firms should confirm what applies to them with their compliance team. Quantaint provides software and services. It is not licensed by the SEC or any other market authority, and it is not affiliated with any exchange. The firm that uses News Pulse holds its own licences and remains responsible for its client communications.

How does market news support investor education?

The moment an investor reads about an event is the moment they are most likely to want to understand it. News Pulse links each news event to a lesson that explains it, so a story about a stock split opens the stock splits lesson.

Lessons are three to five cards long, with quizzes, XP, streaks and spaced repetition. Pre-open and post-close briefings for each market come as text and audio in English and Arabic. An optional two-host market podcast is available in Arabic, with its disclaimers read in formal Arabic.

For a firm, this gives investors a steady reason to open the app.

What should a white label market news widget include?

News Pulse widgets carry no News Pulse branding. Each firm sets theme tokens for colour, fonts, corner radius and density, in light and dark, and checks contrast in the console before publishing. The widget code stays the same across firms; only the theme changes.

Right-to-left is built in, and widgets are kept under 60 KB compressed, so they can sit inside a web app or a mobile WebView without weighing it down.

Alerts follow the same rule. Investors hear about stocks they follow or hold through the firm's own push, email or webhook channels. Positions and contact details are encrypted and never sent to an AI provider.

When does a market news API make more sense than a widget?

A firm with its own design system may prefer to call the REST API and build its own screens, using the same news bites, briefings, lessons and snapshots.

Data licensing works the same way either way. Firms bring the market data, research and Shariah sources they hold, and each is registered with its licence scope and attribution. A firm's own data is served only to that firm, and demo-only data is never served to a production firm.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is News Pulse a news agency or a licensed market data vendor?

No. News Pulse is software that turns market data, filings and news into short insights, briefings and lessons for firms to show their own investors. Firms connect the data licences and research they hold, and each source is shown with its attribution.

Does News Pulse give investment advice?

No. It describes events, ratios and risk, and links to lessons, but it never makes buy or sell recommendations. Every response carries a disclaimer in the reader's language. Quantaint is not licensed by the SEC or any other market authority; the firms that use News Pulse hold their own licences and should confirm their own obligations with their compliance team.

Can we show the news in our own brand and in both languages?

Yes. Widgets take each firm's colours, fonts, radius and density in light and dark, with no News Pulse branding, and every item is available in English and Arabic with right-to-left layout built in.
